We are opening our Uganda Mission Trip to a limited number of pilgrims! This is an opportunity of a lifetime to actually live the Medjugorje message through serving the people of Africa.
Internationally acclaimed authors Immaculee llibagiza and Wayne Weible will headline the tour. As an added bonus, Immaculee will be taking us to the neighboring nation of Rwanda to visit the international shrine of Kibeho. In the early 1980s, Our Lady appeared to several students at the College of Kibeho. The Church approved the messages of the three original visionaries on June 29, 2001.
The itinerary will begin with an overnight stay in Amsterdam, The Netherlands, where we will have a group dinner and briefing. The next day we will continue on our journey to Uganda where we will be staying at a convent in Kampala City, the capital. While in Uganda, we will visit the Queen of Peace Shrine, which Father Slavko visited in 2000 and also have the opportunity to participate in several healing masses and a national TV show on spirituality. One of the days we will travel to an orphanage with more than 800 orphans, similar to Medjugorje’s Mother’s Village, and spend the day sharing a community meal.
In Rwanda, Immaculee will show us around the genocide memorials in the capital city of Kigali. We will then travel onto Kibeho and visit with the visionaries. On December 08, the Feast of the Immaculate Conception, we will celebrate mass at the apparition site. It will be a huge celebration.
Our mission team also includes well-known Medjugorje guide, Slavenka Jelavic, and Father Stanko Ćosić, who is stationed St. James Church, Medjugorje. We will bring a message of love and hope to the people of Uganda who have been devastated through many civil wars and the spread of HIV in their nation. Our visit to Kibeho will be a spiritual one. We will spend time at many sites, such as the statue of Our Lady of Kibeho, the Chapel of the Apparitions, the Way of the Rosary and of course visit the enormous statue of Divine Mercy Jesus.
The trip dates are November 27-December 12, 2014. Call our office for details – 1-877-896-6061 or email us firstname.lastname@example.org for more details and trip pricing.
Note: The Ebola virus is located in three small nations in West Africa. We are traveling to two nations in East Africa, which is 3000 miles away from the outbreak.
